I am extremely happy with this new design. The previous tank leaked if it wasn’t positioned exactly where it was supposed to be. The solution reservoir ended up separating from the tank on the previous design, and I ended up with shampoo all over my floor! I’m just glad it wasn’t on the carpet. What a mess! The only disappointment was that the handle didn’t come with it. It shipped sooner than it was supposed to, and I couldn’t find it cheaper anywhere else.

This is a genuine, improved, re-designed and more durable clean water and solution tank for Hoover V2 SteamVacs. The earlier design had problems with the valves breaking and leaking. In this new version the tank is redesigned and there is no separate solution bottle. It is all molded together with new and improved valves. The color is also different. Therefore, when you see the tank if it is not clear and tank solution bottle is not molded, chances are you are getting an older version or a generic part. Since the introduction of this version we have not had any consumer complaints.
